FILLINGS
Fillings are carried out to eliminate decay, and replace the affected tooth structure. It is known as a filling because new a materials fills hole that decay left. Now days most teeth are treated with bonded tooth colored composite resin fillings. Caught early adequate, cavities can be treated simply and painlessly. If not treated decay can lead to tooth discomfort and/or infection, and the tooth would require root canal treatment method or extraction.
