Question by samak: Deep cavity on molar (tooth # 30). Root canal essential?
I have a deep cavity on my molar, tooth number 30. The dentist said that it may possibly be possible to have a filling. But, we won't know till the dentist starts drilling. The dentist said that as he begins drilling, since it is a quite deep cavity, it may get too close to the nerve. If that takes place, I will need a root canal. Any dentists here? What do you consider? Have you noticed cases like this ahead
