Question by Marlando: What causes a sudden swelling of the cheek and jaw?
A friend has sudden swelling in his cheek and felt like his jaw "hinge" was tight and now it is swollen along the complete side of his face. He says his head feels "funny"... numb and tingling. I am worried about him, told him to place a cool compress on it and lie down! He says he has no teeth discomfort or real pain with this. Thanks for any concepts on this! I am worried he is going to have a stroke!
