Question by Betsy C: Is it an abscess?
About a week ago I had sore gums that felt like I had one thing stuck amongst my teeth. I flossed and flossed, but practically nothing came out, so I gave up. A couple days later I came down with the flu, with fever/vomitting/sore throat/stuffiness, etc. A day or two right after that time (the 10th or 11th) I noticed that the region that had been sore in my gums was extremely painful/swollen.
